We are a faith-based family owned small business. Established in 2023, in Sydney, Australia.
The Name
Expressio Fidei means expression of faith in Latin, the official language of the Catholic Church. It reflects our purpose, to provide Catholics with means to express our faith bravely, boldly, with honour, and without shame or fear, as we are meant to do as disciples of Christ.
Today, over 310 million Christians face extreme persecution worldwide, with approximately 13 Christians killed daily for their faith, creating modern martyrs who echo the courage of early Church heroes. Historically, Catholic martyrs like St. Stephen, stoned to death in 36 AD for preaching Christ, or St. Bartholomew, flayed alive in the 1st century for refusing to renounce Jesus, faced gruesome deaths for their devotion. Similarly, St. Perpetua and St. Felicitas, killed in 203 AD in Carthage, chose martyrdom over denying their Savior, facing wild beasts in the arena. And like them, thousands others. Their sacrifices, past and present, remind us the importance to be brave and carry our faith with us no matter the circumstances.
We hope you like our products and that they inspire you and motivate you to express your faith in public. If we do it, it will definitely encourage others to do the same and who knows, maybe inspire some conversions. If just one soul is saved because of it, it totally worth it!
